Softball Australia has designed this course to enable active learning for Team Managers, teaching the tasks, requirements, and knowledge that must be completed to successfully manage through Softball Australia. This course has been designed for ease of completion, involving online remote learning, and anytime completion status.
The course includes reading packages and course learning via multiple platforms and resources to expand general understanding and assist in personal development. Also included is a series of “Test your Knowledge” questionnaires and Softball Australia specific case studies, assessments and exams which must be completed. The purpose of each of these tasks and quizzes is to develop your knowledge and help with understanding the complex operating environment of team sports.
This course and all resources should be utilised throughout your whole time as a team manager, regardless of previous knowledge, time within the sport or general confidence.

Course Duration:
The course length varies for each individual, the majority of the time is focused on the core readings with individual questionnaires breaking up each content block.
The course can take up to two hours in total to complete, we recommend taking your time to complete the course at a time most suited to you.
Course Requirements:
The course follows a “Learn then Test” theory, meaning you will be presented with the course information then presented with multiple quiz questions to test your knowledge. Each core reading package can be completed at any time suited to you, however, it is recommended to finish one reading pack at a time followed by the relevant questionnaire. Allowing for knowledge retention and ease of applied learning.
Completing these questionnaires is a requirement for the course and you must receive a passing grading on each section to successfully complete the course.
