Softball Australia has designed this resource to enable active learning for individuals undertaking the selection process of athletes. Focused on assisting development, understanding and knowledge around improved athlete selection and preparing for future success.

The purpose of this learning package is to help selectors when choosing individuals and representative teams for softball events, tours, camps etc. This resource is a hands-on guide to understanding all issues associated with the selection process and managing shared responsibility.

This material has been designed for ease of completion, involving online remote learning and anytime completion status.

Aimed at current or potential selectors in the softball community who are looking at upskilling their talents and improve their selection processes.

The resource includes reading packages and course learning via multiple platforms and resources to expand general understanding and assist in personal development. Also included is a series of “Test your Knowledge” questionnaires and Softball specific case studies which can be completed. The purpose of each of these tasks and quizzes is to develop your knowledge and help with understanding the complex operating environment of team sports.
